There is no blouse piece with the saree.
The saree can measure less than 14 cubits (232”) in length and 2.5 cubits (46”) in width.
The main feature of the Manipuri saree is that the design will have a mirang (temple) or temple motif.
So this portrait can be seen in almost every saree’s anchal, texture and border design.
Manipuri sarees are always made with brightly colored threads.
Currently there are various designs on Anchal, Zamin and Bank besides temple portraits.
Apart from this, the color and design of the saree also changes gradually.
